Planning Your First Visit
Let us introduce ourselves. We’re Pequea Church; whether you have been involved with church your entire life, or you are just starting to explore, you should know that you are welcome here. Read below to get to know us a little better. We can’t wait to get to know you, too. If you need anything, let us know. We are here to serve you.
40 Church Rd.
Lancaster PA 17603
Pequea Church is located just south of Lancaster City. We are right outside of the town of Conestoga. Our church sits on top of a hill, but we would advise following Google maps, so you don’t get lost. Click here to get directions from GoogleMaps.
Worship services at Pequea Church bring together dynamic music, stories, and stirring teachings. It is a time to worship God, learn from His Word, fellowship with others in the Pequea community, and to be challenged to live a Christ-centered life. At Pequea, we hold two identical worship services each week. Join us Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
What to Expect When You Visit
Try to get here about 20 minutes before the service starts. Not feeling rushed is always a good start, especially if you need to check your kids into our children’s ministries.
Visit the friendly faces at our Connection Desk (First Floor, Lobby) anytime for more information or advice. This is especially helpful if you have children and need help checking them into their respective services.
At Pequea, we mostly dress casually. We believe that what a person looks like on the outside is not nearly as important as what is on the inside. At Pequea, you will see blue jeans, khakis, dresses, ties, and skirts. Dress however you feel comfortable.
We sing modern songs that honor past traditions, encourage believers, and engage the undecided. We have a wide range of talent that combines to offer a quality sound that reflects our preparation. All of the songs are projected onto a screen, which makes it easy to follow along in singing.
Our services last about 60 minutes.
We want to care for your kids in the same way we would our own. That’s why we’ve created environments for your children (from birth to 5th grade) that are both safe and engaging as they learn more about God and the Bible. Our hope is that as they grow, what they learn on Sunday can be a springboard for more conversations about God and faith with you during the week.
Students are the future of the church and the world, and we have an opportunity to reach them and help them grow in a way that works best for them. We strive to make our student environments dynamic, personal and fun – a place they’ll actually want to go every week.
What We Believe
It’s normal to have questions when it comes to a church’s beliefs and perspectives. In fact, we think it’s a great thing. Our beliefs are central to who we are as a church, so we put them all in one place just for you.
