Philippines Typhoon Relief

Super Typhoon Haiyan has brought flash floods, landslides and immense destruction to the Philippines. The storm, known locally as “Yolanda,” was one of the most powerful on record. Thousands have been killed, over 600,000 people have been displaced and children are bearing the brunt of the crisis. Pequea Church encourages you to direct giving through our affiliate MCC (Mennonite Central Committee). Your donation will help people through MCC’s ongoing partners in the Philippines. MCC has already released $50,000 for urgent food and non-food items for people on Mindanao and Visayas through Church World Service, and supporting other partners in an assessment team and determining needs for long-term recovery.
