Our morning began with us meeting at Pastor German’s church to admire the completed handiwork of the team at the church. The roof looks great! The morning began with some of the men finishing up the roof of the Sunday school rooms while the rest of them headed over to Pastor German’s house to begin painting the walls of the visiting room of his house. Our day began with a group breakfast and then it was off to the church for another day of painting. Today we painted the purlins, which the galvanized steel roof will be attached to. The Nicaraguan construction crew has been welding the rafters (channels we painted yesterday) together and, began welding it to the re-bar. [...]
