News Views and Java welcomes honest expression in confronting the issues of our culture with a “whatever it takes to live abundantly for Christ” attitude. We meet in room 146 every Sunday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Below is a list of upcoming Sunday morning special speakers and topics.

War is Warit’s not about GI Joe or Mash…it’s awful

Bob Houck will be presenting a 45-minute story with pictures about going to war, fighting the battle and coming home from the war.
Bob is Quality Assurance Manager at Millersville University. Twice during the academic year he partners with Dr. Ronald Frankum, associate professor of history at Millersville University, by telling his reality story to senior level history students. Bob’s story is not a political story; he presents the geographical location, logistics of his past military base, and his experiences and personal reflections. He welcomes your questions.

Sunday, November 22, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
When the foundations are shaken what can the righteous do?

Gib Armstrong Jr., Attorney Len Brown and Lobbyist Michael Geer will inspire you onward in pro-active response vs. abandoning the future to “somebody.” Your questions about the current national political scene, the legal system, proposed laws, health care status, and lobbying for causes are welcome.
