What are the services like?

At Pequea our services bring together dynamic music, compelling dramas, real life faith stories and stirring teachings. It is a time to worship God, learn from His Word, fellowship with others in the Pequea community and to be challenged to live a Christ-centered life. It is a time to be renewed and refreshed when we become beaten down and tired out.

What should I wear?

At Pequea we mostly dress casual. We believe that what a person looks like on the outside is not nearly as important as what is on the inside. At Pequea you will see blue jeans, khakis, dresses and skirts. Dress however you feel comfortable.

What is this Believe, Grow, Serve & Share all about?

Pequea Church has developed a mission to bring followers of Christ into a fully devoted relationship with our Creator. First you must believe in Christ. Secondly we feel that as a Chrisitian there is constant need for Growth. Thirdly we feel that as Christ followers we are created to serve whether that be inside the church or around the world. And lastly it is our desire that fully devoted followers of God will share with others the love of Christ.

What about my children?

Children are a priority at Pequea Church! Our trained workers know how to ensure that your child will have a great morning every Sunday. We have Nursery for infant and age 1 children and classes for ages 2 – 5 where the children receive a Bible story, craft, enjoy singing, and play time. Our greeters who welcome you at the doors can assist you in finding your little ones class rooms. Children in grades K – 5 meet in small groups according to their grade and then form a large group for the Bible lesson and worship time. A different lesson is given to this age group during the second hour of the morning. These children meet in the lower level of the building in All Star Alley. Grade 6 meets in the Youth Center for study during first hour and then attends worship the second hour.

Where does my teenager get connected?

When your student attends Pequea on Sunday mornings we encourage them to attend the morning worships service but there are also other opportunities to connect. While Thursday Nights comprise flagship of our program, small groups are available for your student on Sunday mornings. This setting is deeper and more intimate than our crazy evening programs. Groups provide the opportunity to connect with other students and leaders. In addition, there are several areas where students can serve , from children’s ministry to technology, your student can take an active role in the life of the church.

What about Sunday School?

At Pequea Church we currently offer various discovery classes that meet in a traditional "Sunday School" enviornment. At Pequea we believe that discipleship can also occur through grow groups. Most people who attend Pequea grow in their faith through our grow groups.
