March 28, 2010- Love Feast
The Love Feast is a special evening at Pequea Church. It will be held on Sunday March 28 at 5:30 p.m. The evening will start with a meal in the gym and then move to a time of reflection in the auditorium. Following the time of reflection, we will have optional foot washing for men in the Welcome Center; women’s foot washing will be at the back of the auditorium. If this is your first time attending the Love Feast and you do not feel comfortable participating in the foot washing time, you can feel at ease to simply watch this ceremony. This is a special time of fellowship symbolizing the love of Christ as He washed the disciples’ feet. Jesus instructs us in the gospel of John 12:14-17 to continue this symbolic practice.
