Hello!  I’m Jeremy Tuel, Worship Pastor here at Pequea Church. I have recently come to Pequea, having served my previous church as Worship Director for almost 10 years. It is my pleasure to lead the Worship Design Team that crafts our Sunday and special worship gatherings. I oversee our music, drama, dance, and other fine arts ministries. You will often see me singing and playing guitar with the worship band.
 
If you have ever been to a boring church “service,” you will understand when I say that many people go to churches everywhere just to watch the show. In reality, we the church aren’t called to put on a show for people to watch – we are supposed to offer ourselves as sacrifices in worship, and teach and apply Scripture to the lives of people. How do we do that? In a variety of ways! At Pequea, we want God’s Spirit to change people every day of every week – not just Sunday!  This means we are going to worship and seek God through Scripture, through song, through visual media, through drama, through all our senses, and by any means available, so that every day we remember who He is and how He wants to transform our lives. God is alive! Our faith is alive when we stay close to him in worship every day.
 
There is an opportunity for everyone in our worship ministries – from giving feedback on our worship design, to singing or playing an instrument, to reading a Scripture, to being an extra in a skit. Worship is about participating, so contact me and get involved!
 
By the way, my wife Sara and I have been married for almost 7 years and have a daughter named Callie who will be 2 years old in August 2008. That same month, we are excitedly expecting the arrival of a new baby!  We are newcomers to the area and still learning our way around, but we love it here. We also teach private music lessons, and enjoy playing board games, and eating Mexican and Italian food!
