Hello!  I’m Jeremy Tuel, Worship Pastor here at Pequea Church. I came to Pequea in February of 2008, having served my previous church as Worship Director for almost 10 years. It is my pleasure to lead the Creative Arts Team that crafts our Sunday and special worship gatherings. I oversee our music, drama, dance, and other fine arts ministries. You will often see me singing and playing guitar with the worship band.
 
If you have ever been to a boring church gathering, you will understand when I say that many people go to churches everywhere just to watch the show. In reality, we the church aren’t called to put on a show for people to watch – instead, we are supposed to offer ourselves as sacrifices in worship, and teach and apply Scripture to the lives of people. At Pequea, we want to do that in a variety of ways. We want God’s Spirit to change people every day of every week – not just Sunday!  This means we are going to worship and seek God through Scripture, through song, through visual media, through drama, through all our senses, and by any means available, so that every day we remember who He is and how He wants to transform our lives. God is alive! And our faith is alive when we stay close to him in worship every day.
 
There is an opportunity for everyone to be involved in our worship ministries – you don’t have to play an instrument or even have a desire to be in front of people. From giving input and feedback on our creative worship design, to singing, to reading a Scripture, to being an extra in a skit. – worship is about participating, so contact me and get involved!

By the way, my wife Sara and I have been married for almost 8 years and have a daughter named Callie who will be 3 years old in August. That same month, our son Noah will turn 1 year old!  We are thankful to call Lancaster County our home. We also teach private music lessons, and enjoy playing board games, and eating Mexican and Italian food!
